Release 4.21 focused on the addition of new features and feature enhancements to enable seamless and effective communication between Loop 360 users and their contacts. A new Outbound page was added to enable outbound messaging within Loop 360. Additional enhancements were implemented such as the addition of custom fields management in Loop 360 as well as new insights panels for single input and 5 star rating question types. As always, bug fixes and product enhancements were implemented to improve the overall user experience within Loop.
New Features in Loop 4.21
Loop 360 Outbound Messaging
In Loop 4.21, reaching out to contacts and segments has never been easier thanks to the introduction of a brand new Outbound page. From this page, users can manage and design email and SMS messages to be sent to contacts. This page is located in the left-hand navigation menu and is available to those with access to Loop Inbox.
Interacting with the New Message button, located to the upper-right of the page, will allow users to design a new message to be sent to a segment of their choice. This will navigate users to a wizard from which they can configure their message. The steps involved in this wizard are as follows:
The first step in configuring a new message involves defining its title as well as the location and channel that it will be sent from.
Once the initial details of the message are defined, the user will then be able to design the content of their message. This step will vary depending on whether the message is being distributed over email or SMS. In the case of email distribution, the user will be presented with an email designer.
In the case of SMS distributions, the user will be met with a field in which they can define their text message.
After designing the content of the message, the user must then select the audience that it will be sent to. Users may choose from any existing segments that they have configured from the Contacts page within Loop. The selection of segments that are shown in this step will depend on the location that was selected from the “Details” step.
The final step in the message creation wizard involves defining when it will be sent. In this step, three options are provided:
Send immediately: The message will be sent directly upon its creation
Send once: The message will be sent at a future date
Send more than once: The message will be sent on a recurring schedule
Once created, messages will appear in the Outbound page where they can be viewed and managed.
Custom Field Management in Loop 360
In Release 4.21, owners in Loop 360 will now be able to manage custom fields. Users will now be able to view, edit, create, and delete custom fields. This can be performed from a newly introduced page within the account settings tab.
New Insight Panels
In this release, new panels have been added to the survey project insights tab in order to provide users with convenient access to question type performance analytics. New panels were added for the following question types:
