See What’s New: Loop 4.10 Release

The focus of this release surrounded the addition of major features such as dashboard drill downs and project folders to Loop 360. Cosmetic enhancements were made to the Loop 360 survey designer, resulting in a more intuitive survey building experience. Additional feature and product enhancements were implemented to improve the overall user experience within Loop.

New Features

Dashboard Drill Downs

Using the Loop 360 user interface (UI), users can now analyze dashboard panels in greater detail through the addition of drill downs. Clicking on a data point on any chart panel will allow users to see a more granular view of the given data set. Drill downs on dashboard panels that surround survey responses show all relevant responses that form the dataset. Users now have the ability to navigate from the drill down to a specific response of interest.

Drill downs on dashboard panels that surround ticket reporting offer users the ability to navigate directly from the drill down to the ticket which generated the data.

Project Folders

Project folders were implemented to enhance users’ ability to organize their projects and manage the permissions of users across their account. Folders can be created and named directly from the Projects page.

After entering a folder, projects can be created as usual. Only users with appropriate permissions will be able to view/edit the contents of the folder. These permissions can be modified through interacting with the folder settings icon located at the top right of of the page.

Users across the account can be added to the folder using the dropdown menu located at the top of the window. Below this, a list of all users with access to the folder can be seen. From this list, the permissions of these users can be modified. The following permissions are currently supported:

  • Viewer: can only view contents of the folder without any ability to make edits

  • Editor: can modify all contents of the folder

  • Owner: can modify all contents of the folder. All folders must have at least one owner

Key Feature Enhancements

Project Organization

In release 4.10, surveys and dashboards now exist together within the Projects page. Clicking the “create” button, located at the top right of the screen, will provide the option between creating a new survey or dashboard project.

Project Renaming

A new icon can now be found on project cards. Interacting with this icon allows users to quickly rename both survey and dashboard projects directly from the projects list.

Survey Designer

Loop 360 users now have access to an enhanced survey building experience. An improved user interface will see users being able to design surveys more seamlessly than ever before.

A variety of question types can be easily added to a survey from the pane located to the right of the screen. After having been added, users may interact with a question to configure it further. Options such as its title, theming, and rollup category can be modified according to users’ preferences.

Product Enhancements

Within this release, several product enhancements have been implemented across Loop. These enhancements were implemented in order to improve general performance and reliability, offering a more pleasant and effortless user experience.
