Benbria to Appear at Revenue by Design’s Seize Opportunity in Disruption

On February 21, Benbria is making an appearance at Revenue by Design’s Seize Opportunity in Disruption in London, located at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel. This day-long conference features hoteliers, vendors, and journalists from across the hospitality industry, who will speak on topics ranging from the impact of OTAs on the hotelier, to the opportunities offered by disruption, to the impact of disruption on the hotel business model.

The morning’s keynote, Guest-Centricity — How to create effective collaboration between marketing and revenue management (9:15 to 10:00 a.m.), will be delivered by Benjamin Habbel, formerly chief of staff to Marissa Mayer at Google and now the founding CEO of Voyat, a data company that helps hoteliers create better digital experiences for their guests. He’ll talk primarily about the difficulties and rewards involved in aligning marketing efforts with revenue strategies.

Benbria’s CEO, Andrea Baptiste, will also be speaking. She has worked in the technology and telecommunications industries for more than 20 years and has a wealth of knowledge about the benefits of introducing mobile into a hotel’s guest experience strategy. She’ll participate as a panelist and also lead a masterclass about the role of mobile technology in the hospitality industry today.

Andrea joins Michael Ros, co-owner at Bidroom.com, and Nathan Zielte, co-founder of DreamCheaper, to talk about the ways their companies are disrupting the hospitality industry to solve complex business problems and explain the benefits of embracing disruption. Katia Lang, co-founder of Disrupts Magazine, moderates.

Masterclass: How Mobile Technology Increases TRevPAR
Andrea will also join James Geneau, Benbria’s Head of Marketing, for a fun and informative master class on the impact of mobile on guest engagement and driving new revenue! The modern guest has expectations regarding mobile technology that hoteliers are just beginning to understand. When guests travel, they want to have the same conveniences at their hotel that they do when they’re at home — and this generally involves access to information and communication via a mobile device. In this masterclass, Andrea and James will show hoteliers how they can take advantage of developments in on-site mobile guest engagement to enhance the customer experience and realize big benefits for their bottom line.

Other panels include How to Make Disruption Work for You (10:00 to 10:45 a.m.), featuring managers and executives from the Conrad London St. James, Bespoke Hotels, and Apex Hotels; and The Diversification of OTAs and the Impact on the Hotelier (11:15 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.), with speaks from Booking.com, Infor, Duetto, and more. Attendees may also choose from a variety of masterclasses, and in between the panels, attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry thought leaders.
